1. It's officially summer (in the northern hemisphere anyway). Which summer month is best and why? I'm going with August because it's my birthday month. Whoop whoop!
2. Can you swim? How did you learn? June 27th is National Sunglasses Day. How many pair do you own? Yes, I can swim and I learned when I was in about the 3rd or 4th grade. My mom signed me up for swimming lessons at the local YWCA. I own four pairs of sunglasses. My favorite ones are aviators.
3. What characteristic do you judge most harshly in yourself? How about in others? In myself it would probably be lack of patience. I tend to want things done RIGHT NOW. In others, I'd say it's integrity and having a strong work ethic.
4. Robert Frost wrote the well-known poem 'The Road Not Taken'. What's a road (literal or figurative) you've always wanted to travel, and where do you hope it takes you? I've always thought it would be fun to rent an RV and drive out west. I'd like to go to Utah to do some hiking and exploring. Look how pretty...
5. Popsicle-yay or nay? If you answered yay, what's your favorite flavor? No, I'm not a fan.
6. Brexit-on a scale of 1-10 how knowledgeable are you on what's involved here (1=very knowledgeable; 10=what's Brexit?). Is this news you'll follow or is it something you think won't impact your life in any way, shape, or form? I'm going with an 8 on this one and, no, it isn't something I'm going to be following closely. We, Americans, have much larger fish to fry, in my opinion.
7. Share a favorite song on your summer playlist. I'm loving 'H.O.L.Y' by Florida Georgia Line and 'Wasted Time' by Keith Urban.
8. Insert your own random thought here. Have any big plans for the 4th? We're going to our neighbor's party. He mentioned to Chris yesterday that he will be competing with two other men in a BBQ cook-off. He said they're planning on putting a gator on a spit. WHAT??? Where do you get a gator? Certainly not at the local Publix. Not quite sure how I feel about that...I'm hoping he was just joking.
