I was so thrilled to learn recently that I'd won a giveaway that my blog friend, Penny, hosted on her amazing blog, The Comforts of Home. It was for a $50 gift certificate from the online lighting store, ParrotUncle. Don't you just love that name? I could hardly wait to visit their website and make my selection.
I must have been on a mission because I made my selection within ten minutes. I love pretty lamps and was in need of some additional lighting in my kitchen. So, I picked out a beautiful Tiffany-style table lamp with flowers and leaves. Just perfect for sitting on the counter. It took a bit for it to be delivered as it shipped from China, but it was well worth the wait.
