God Never Fails

As I mentioned recently, I had some blood work done two weeks ago today by a hematologist. The reason is because my white blood cell count in November came back at 2.8. My GYN retested me in December and though it had come up, my count was still low at 3.6. So, the recommendation was made that I consult a hematologist to see what next step to take. I have to admit, my first visit with the doctor was somewhat unnerving as she's, also, an oncologist. There is a lot of cancer in my family, so all the 'what ifs' flooded my mind.

About eight or nine vials of blood were taken for an entire panel of tests. Results were supposed to be back within a week. I hadn't received any call from the doctor's office, so I had decided to give them until tomorrow before I called them. I got our mail yesterday afternoon and saw a letter from the hematologist. I sort of held my breath as I opened it and read it. Every single test she ran, and there were four pages of results, were completely 100% NORMAL! My white blood cell count is now at 6.8, which is the highest it's been in years. Even my red blood cell count, platelet count, and hemoglobin, which were all in the high range, were perfectly normal. I kid you not, this is the first time in a very long time that I've had every single panel on my blood work come back normal.

I serve a mighty God and I know that He is the reason for my great news! Thanks to all of you who prayed for good results; I can't tell you how much I appreciate it! It's wonderful to be surrounded by Prayer Warriors when you need them. So, I feel like I can finally breathe and continue to live my life as fully as possible.

'But truly God has listened; He has attended to the voice of prayer.'~Psalm 66-19
